(O Prophet ﷺ ), take sadaqa (zakat) out of their property-thou wouldst cleanse them and purify them thereby (Qur’an, ix. 103). And away from it (the Hell) shall be kept the most faithful to duty who gives his wealth, purifying himself (xcii. 17-18).
Ramadan the most rewarding month, teaches us many things and makes us able to get many rewards. Our every single act of kindness can be multiplied by many folds. Well, the most common act of kindness is charity in Ramadan, because the way we have feelings, other people also have them. They also want to taste good food, wear new clothes, on Eid and want to smile with heart.
Most people don’t consider the basic needs of needy ones because according to such “so called humans”. Needy or poor people are used to of living in those dirty environments, their stomach can digest the spoiled food, they don’t have feelings to celebrate Eids or other events with new clothes or happiness. In real, nobody gets used to or fond of uncomfortable things, spoiled food or pathetic environment. The ones who have that mentality should not be called as humans.
“Without feeling a pain of others, a person can’t be called as a “Human”. _DHS
Donating clothes and giving charity in Ramadan can bring peace to our hearts, the kind of satisfaction we get after helping others is just unmatchable. So, in this Ramadan we all must try to become a “human”.
Even if we can’t help people with money, our kind words of appreciation can be used to give them a smile at least. What is more beautiful than bringing smiles on others’ faces?
Giving Zakat in Ramadan, is also essential all the Muslims must pay Zakat. It is an obligatory act ordained by Allah. It is indeed one of the most important pillars of Islam for Muslim.
Narrated Jarir bin `Abdullah:
I gave the pledge of allegiance to the Prophet (ﷺ) for offering prayer perfectly, giving Zakat, and giving good advice to every Muslim.
