Allah, the Most Exalted, says, ‘[This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Mohammed], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded’.” (Sad: 29).
Allah who blesses us with countless rewards for our little acts of kindness, now think of those rewards which we get when we fast, we wake up for Allah, we stay thirsty and hungry for the sake of Allah. When Allah can reward us for a single smile, so these acts can make us the richest person in Jannah. We can earn the most of the rewards if we fast, during fasting each of our positive actions can make us achieve greatest success. Yes, the real success which we will get in the form of Jannah. Reciting Quran during fast, is the most rewarding act.
This is an opportunity when we can build a strong relationship with Quran. Reading Quran is rewarding but understanding it, is also essential.
Prophet ﷺ said: “Fasting and the Quran will intercede for the servant of Allah on the Day of Resurrection. Fasting will say, ‘O Lord, I prevented him from food and drink during the day, so allow me to intercede for him.’ The Quran will say, ‘O Lord, I prevented him from sleeping during the night, so allow me to intercede for him.’ And they will be allowed to intercede.”
We must earn enough rewards in this month that our previous sins can be erased, and we can again become the new versions of ourselves. Allah rewards for reading each letter in Quran.
“The Holy Prophet ﷺ said, about the recitation of the Quran, “Whoever draws near to Allah during it (Ramadan) with a single characteristic from the characteristics of (voluntary) goodness, he is like whoever performs an obligatory act in other times. And whoever performs an obligatory act during it, he is like whoever performed seventy obligatory acts in other times.” (Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah, no. 1887.”
