To be honest, it is impossible to count the blessings of Allah (S.W.T), because Allah has provided us with unlimited blessings.
The Almighty Allah says:
“And if you were to count Allah’s favors, you would not be able to number them; most surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.” (Qur’an, 16:18)
Our lives are one of the blessings of Allah (S.W.T). Everyone has different challenges in their lives. There is not a single person alive who hasn’t faced any failure. Everyone wishes for the things which they don’t have, and consider those things as challenges of their lives; however, the fact is totally vice versa. The things which we do not have in our lives are not suitable for us.
Allah (S.W.T) said in The Holy Quran:
“But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you, and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. Allah knows, while you know not” (Quran 2: 216).
He has blessed us with the blessings of sight, hearing, wellbeing, and family. If we observe nature He has given us the bounties like The Sun, The Moon, The Sky, and The Earth. Every breath we take is His blessing.
Think about the human body. It is comprised of one hundred trillion cells. Every cell is a gift from Allah (S.W.T). There are no two ways in accepting the fact that the human body has a hundred trillion favors.
There are undeniably more since Allah‘s blessing is visible inside every single cell. Additionally, every cell has an inestimable number of expected dangers, from infections to malignancy to an assortment of breakdowns. Allah (S.W.T) through His blessings shields the cells from these anomalies.
We can never list Allah’s blessings that are bestowed upon us.
Knowing and recognizing the favours of Allah (S.W.T), as well as their source, is the initial step of thanking Allah. Recognizing favors such as the ones of being able to move, walk, work, exercise, sleep, eat, etc. all branch from the great favor of being healthy. The favor of being humans; the favor of being Muslims; the favor of being guided; the favor of being well-mannered; are also great ones to reflect on.
Each one of these gifts will stop existing when our short life will come to an end. The lone gift that will undoubtedly rapture in the great beyond is the gift of being a Muslim, which is unquestionably the best blessing Allah (S.W.T) has at any point offered to us.
How great Allah’s favors are upon us! He has chosen us and made us the best community that has ever been brought forth for the good of mankind, bearing the testimony of faith, La Ilaaha Illallaah (There is no god worthy of worship except Allah), with which He has sent all His Prophets.
All praise to Allah (S.W.T), Who gives without measure. To keep profiting by such huge blessings, we need to show thankfulness to Allah by our words and actions, as The Holy Qur’an states:
“If you are grateful, I will certainly give you more.” (Surah Ibrahim, 14:7)
