We always encourage our kids to write well, read well improve mathematical skills etc. The most essential skill is learning the life skills and doing chores which we usually do no teach, but as it is the right time to teach some essential skills so we must encourage kids to help moms this winter. They are not just the ways to take some help from kids but they will also make our kids live better lives. Kids will understand that how they become the part of life by doing home chores.
Motivate kids to clean their room, organize school bags, their cupboards do dusting, and sometimes they can wash dishes too if it is not too cold. If kids show laziness in doing their chores then avoid scolding or forcing them but talk to them tell them how it is important and by doing this, they will help parents and more than parents they will be abled to help themselves by learning those essential life skills.
If children have no problem in doing those chores then parents can set timer for each work, like the dishes have to be done in 20 minutes, cupboard should be organized in 15 minutes, because giving them tasks is not enough, with the time limits they will be able to understand the importance of time management and deadlines.
Use humors during the work, which can be really encouraging and motivating for children. It lightens the mood too. Learning and doing these chores will make children responsible and they will be able to contribute to their families.
