To enjoy the glow of good health, you must exercise.”
Gene Tunney
Essential and healthy activities like Physical activities encourage healthy development at young age. A healthy body is also composed of physical activities, but how much do we promote them. According to my research, today’s young learners spend more time playing online games or indoor activities, which are no longer healthy for their body, nowhere parents can play a vital role to encourage their participation in physical activities, like basketball, stretching exercises, etc.
We all know the health benefits of all physical activities, but the task is to promote them for the healthy development of children. Physical activities improve cardiovascular fitness. Physical activities help in the development of better motor skills and in concentration and thinking skills as well.
Talk to your children, and make them understand why physical activities are important or tell them your success stories of any sport in which you participated and won.
In fact, play something with children who need physical involvement.
Be a role model for children to inspire them, to follow you. When kids are active, their bodies can do the things they want and need them to do.
When kids enjoy an activity, they want to do more of it. So make each activity so much fun, that they want to do it again!
Start encouraging physical activities from today, if you start early it will become a habit or a regular practice for children, which they will enjoy too.
“True enjoyment comes from activity of the mind and exercise of the body; the two are ever united.”
