We are going to celebrate a day for a man who always stands by our side, who is more important than 100 of people, the one who is one in a million, who is our special friend, the one who is beloved and caring, the one who is the light of our way, the one who chiseled our way of life, the one who is our father.
Our father is indeed our greatest defender, he is the king but becomes servants for us. There is a love hidden in all his scolds. Wherever we go or move our eyes always search for our parents. Because only our parents are the ones who can ignore our mistakes and teach us all the skills. The rest of the people may forget our mistakes but it becomes difficult for others to forgive our mistakes.
Narrated ‘Abdullah: I asked the Prophet ﷺ “Which deed is the dearest to God?” He replied, “To offer the prayers at their early stated fixed times.” I asked, “What is the next (in goodness)?” He replied, “To be good and dutiful to your parents.” (Bukhari)
Why do we change our behavior with our parents? Why do we have old-age homes? Why are we forgetting that they have given us this life? When we move forward in life, we should avoid forgetting our near and dear ones. Father does everything to make us happy but we avoid talking about his likes and dislikes.
It is time to think, about all the mistakes which we have been making. Improve ourselves, respecting parents is obligatory, it is not a choice. “God will not accept the prayers of one who looks at his parents with hatred, even if they have not performed their duties towards him.” Our parents, our fathers try their best to give us our dreams. We must be respectful of our parents because they need us and we need them.
