“You yourself have to change first, or nothing will change for you!”
Everyone has a long list of new year’s resolutions, many of us want to get awesome grades, want to earn more or be successful in everything, but what about our prayers, beliefs, and love for Allah, we all must pray to be a better Muslim this year.
We must make sure that we offer prayer five times a day, and should encourage our kids to do so. It is the foundation of our faith and the greatest act of worship. Make more Duas whenever we have anything in our heart, if we feel happy, we should thank Allah, if we feel sad, we should ask Allah for help, for every little thing we must turn to Allah.
We must avoid lying, at least we should try to avoid lying, even in jokes there shouldn’t be anything fake to make people laugh because it is another form of lie. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “You must be truthful, for truthfulness leads to righteousness and righteousness leads to Paradise.
The purpose should not be to stay happy only but to make others happy too by helping them and supporting them, it will actually give us the happiness for 2020.
“No one has ever become poor by giving.”
― Anne Frank, diary of Anne Frank:
We must also, avoid comparing ourselves with others or get jealous, but should compare our new selves with old one, and should become better than before. Begin this new year with all positivity.
Happy New Year!
