Your way of thinking makes your personality better. It also helps to tackle your life more finely, but to make your life better the first thing that needs to be changed is your “Mindset.”
When your mindset translates your actions into a routine, then it shows and defines who you are, actually, it describes your personality.
But here the question arises “How to change your mindset?”
Let’s take an example: When we intake good and healthy food, we feel energetic and active, but when we eat unhealthy food, so our body becomes lethargic and we do feel weak, correspondingly we feed our mind too by positive and negative thinking.
Nowadays almost every person overthinks, and this overthinking leads us to imagine constantly that whatever we are doing, is it right or wrong? Is it good to do or not? If we do this, what will be the result? All these kinds of puzzled thoughts and confused illustrations make our lives more difficult. Always keep in mind that our mindset affects everything in our life.
Islam has termed human beings as “Ashraf-ul-Makhlooqat”. Allah (SWT) has created us and gave us a sense of wise thinking. So, first of all, we have to set our mind on the word “Tawwakul”. This word means to have a firm belief in Allah’s plans. When Allah (S.W.T) has planned our lives, so why do we get stressed when things do not favor us? He is The Best of Planners, and it is mentioned in The Holy Quran that:
Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear. (Surah-e-Baqarah : Verse286)
The Holy Book (Quran) has a perfect guideline for each aspect of self-development. Allah (S.W.T) has said: “He has succeeded who purifies the soul, and he has failed who corrupts the soul.” [Quran, Surah 91: Ayahs 9-10].
Our Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) life is a role model for every person in this world. By following His Sunnahs we can easily change our mindset as He was the most humble, generous, positive, and honest person. Even the bitterest enemies of his couldn’t help but admit that he was Al-Sadiq Al-Amin i.e. The Truthful and The Trust Worthy.
Moreover, there are some points mentioned below that may help us to change our mindset:
i. Be positive and give priority to yourself, because “You” are important.
ii. Be creative and create a new habit to support your mindset.
iii. Stop thinking negatively.
iv. Train your mind to see good in everything.
So change your mindset, because “happiness depends on your mindset and attitude.”
