“Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of the people until they change what is in themselves.” (Surah Ar-Ra’d 13:11, Sahih translation)
“Shinning hearts” doesn’t it sound like a magical bulb. Well, a shining heart is brighter than a 100-watt bulb and as calming as the Quran. The beautifully emerging light waves from a shining heart always help and guide find the right way.
“A good heart heals wounds but the best heart heals the wounds of others.” -DHS
How many times do we really think to make others happy too? There is a famous saying which says; “we can’t make everyone happy”. But we can make most of the people happy if we want. Try to spend some time alone, and listen to own heart. What does it say? Taking people’s suggestions and opinions is perfectly okay. But doing what people say only, is not okay! Do what heart says.
‘Satan threatens you with poverty and orders you to immorality, while Allah promises you forgiveness from Him and bounty. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.'[Surah Baqarah 2:268]
If we are successful today so credit goes to us, and if we are failure still, we are responsible. Why do most of the people find out different ways to blame others? Because of their stoned hearts. Let’s remove this layer of dirt from our hearts, this Ramadan. Which is indeed a month of countless blessings. Observing fasts is one of the most beautiful things of our religion. During fast not only we observe fast but each of our organs as well. Through which our hearts can be purified.
In the Holy Qur’an, in Chapter 2 Verse 183, it reads “O you who believe, fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may guard against evil.”
We all must give charity for the sake of Allah, as much as possible specially during quarantine in Ramadan where most of the people need our help! When we help others for the sake of Allah our hearts shine within.
The Prophet Mohammad ﷺ said:
“Cure your sick people with sadaqa”[Al-Bayhaqi :: Book #2 :: Hadith #282; Abu Dawood in al-Marasil, Hadith #210]
One who gives charity will be amongst the seven types of people who will be in Allah’s shade on the day of judgement.
“ A person who practices charity so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has given.”
So, make hearts shine this Ramadan with all positive actions. -DHS
