An-Nahl, 16::72
Since men and women have been created from one origin and one entity, neither of them can claim superiority over each other. They have been created from the same source and so their essence is the same. This is reinforced in the Qur’an many times so as to ensure mankind is aware that both are equal in the eyes of God.
A true woman is the actual example of purity and character, as it is stated above too that “both are equal in the eyes of God.” Means men and women are equal in front of Allah, in fact Islam is the religion where women are given with great opportunity to be protected and saved under her father, brother or husband’s shelter. Serving and working for a family make a woman a perfect woman. When women and men both work together for a happy life then they can be the most powerful in the world but if they both make their separated units which fight for “rights of women” or rights of men” then life becomes difficult.
If a man is the front Tyre of a bicycle of life then, a woman is the back Tyre and both have to move in the same direction together to make this cycle move forward. Then why do we fight? What is the conflict and who is creating fuss? Women is the most powerful word I have ever heard, so who are we scared of? There is only Allah who can save us, protect us and give us what we want. No protest can bring peace but they create conflicts and confusions between men and women.
A woman should be strong enough to love herself and stop demanding things from others with those useless protests and slogans. A strong woman should be able to build for herself and for others, and should be herself.
Happy international Women’s Day to all the strong women!
