“Fall seven times, stand up eight.”
This blog is specifically for all parents to encourage and find children’s talents. I still remember how my mother used to listen to all my stories and interests to let me know about my talent.
When I discovered my interest in sketching, I was very young, around 6-8 years old I wanted to become a professional artist quickly, I used to ask my mother how do I have to wait to make it my profession. My mother told me that in grade 8 you can acquire it as a profession. I was thinking that 6-7 years is a long-time period. But, as the saying goes, time flies’. I came in grade 8 and discovered that it was only my passion, it is still a passion but I was born to be a leader. Alhamdulillah! I am a leader today, I always explain my presentation or lectures using my sketching skills, and this talent was the discovery of my mother.
We all must listen and encourage our children, give them exposure to different things and find out their interest level, long term interest or short term interest as well.
Being parents the major role is to be the coach or guide to your children’s dream, don’t tell them to dream encourage them to do so. You can make suggestions based on what you are seeing and hearing from your child.
There is so much sense of fulfillment in parenting.
