“Each day of our lives we make deposits in the memory banks of our children.” – Charles R. Swindoll
Does your child feel stressed or anxious most of the time, if yes then this blog is for you?
I understand, that being parents we get busy with so many things, we have to do a lot of things for our kids, we have to take care of their academics, their health, breakfast, playtime, shopping events, etc. But the most important thing, which is the most essential one is giving them time and talking to them. We invest our great time in preparing things for our kids, but we forget to prepare them mentally, no matter how busy we get but if we don’t spend enough time with our kids it is all useless to prepare things for them.
Do we really try and find what is the actual reason that a child gets angry pretty early or stress? We usually ignore, but this is an alarming situation, where we need to become a child’s friend and try to find out the clues. Sometimes, the child may feel upset because of some extra homework or maybe friends, toys or chocolates, but sometimes reasons can be another, to help our children we must take these situations seriously and find the smartest solutions.
The best way to solve this problem is by talking to kids but talking doesn’t mean that we should start enquiring about them, we should not pressurize them by asking questions to enquire, but we can talk to them about the things they like, talk about shopping, toys, or movies. Make plans then gradually kids will share their problems when they get rid of stress. This situation has to be dealt with smartly, as I mentioned above too. We can even do different activities with them upload status add feelings, now ask them, if you get a chance or if you want to upload status, what feeling would you add? Why? We need to ask them indirectly to avoid giving them stress.
