We have been facing a toughest time since the beginning of year 2020, a few months back a virus entered into our world, known as Corona virus which shattered many lives, economies around the world, social lives everywhere, education on a great scale and almost everything.
While we all were trying to cope with the depression of all those loses, we received another heartbreaking news of a plane crashed. Most of the people were preparing the plans for Eid’s prayers with family and now before Eid’s prayer they have to offer their family’s funeral’s prayers ( Salat al-Janazah). It is actually the most heart-wrenching situation. In this year most of the people lost their near and dear ones, but should we lose hopes too? Aren’t we alive today, to help others? Or to support others? Should we not be thankful to Allah today? We are still breathing to support others and care for others and to safe lives.
Allah has again given us another opportunity to ask for his mercy today,The greatest night, (Lailatul Jaiza) at this night we should perform as much worship as we can and ask Allah for his mercy upon us all.
It had been the practice of the Prophet ﷺ , that he would not sleep in the night preceding the day of Eid-ul-fitr. This night has been named in a Hadith as the Night of Reward (Lailatul Jaiza). We must understand that it is a night of rewards so we should avoid wasting our precious time in the activities which are not going to benefit us in hereafter. May Allah accept our prayers and forgive us. To make this life beautiful we should love Allah and his beloved Prophet ﷺ.
Situation is indeed the most challenging, but remember the real power of Muslims is that, they remain in a positive state of mind.
The faithful knows that any trying times, he finds himself in, are a God-sent test. He takes things in his stride, recalling what Allah Almighty has advised him: “…it may be that you hate something when it is good for you and it may be that you love something when it is bad for you. Allah knows and you do not know.” (Qur’an, 2:216)
May Allah fulfill our all dreams and hopes. Eid Mubarak! _DHS
