During these quarantine days many of us learned the new productive skills while some of us kept fighting with a serious depression. Depression sounds so easy thing but in real it is an insidious disease. Many of us feel so hard to handle with the daily challenges of our lives, during quarantine. We must understand that if we can’t find the solution of the problems, so why should we think about them just let them go, and if we can find the solution of those problems then again why to worry? And rethink? But yes’, we must think about the beautiful moments which we are dissolving into a mixture of negativity.
Most people suggest to talk to somebody to deal with the depression, but when we can pray and can make Duaa, then what is the need of talking to anyone? When we talk to Allah via our prayers, we feel inner peace and satisfaction. There are billions of people who are living the most challenging lives in the world. One thing which keeps them going, is their firm believe in Allah. If we read the history; each of our Prophet faced the toughest time and they still accomplished, and achieved success. Difficult times are the part of test given by Allah, and their solutions are also given by Him just to test our belief.
We emerge from difficult times closer to Allah if we keep a strong belief.
The following story, as narrated by one of the Prophet’s companions, Abdullah Ibn Mas`ud, tells how Prophet Mohammad ﷺ was treated during very tough years:
Seven from the leaders of Makkah were gathering next to Al-Ka`bah while the Prophet Mohammad ﷺ was praying. He elongated his prostration. Abu Jahl, one of those leaders, said,
“Who would bring the innards of the camel so-and-so family just slaughtered? We can put it on top of Muhammad ﷺ while prostrating!”
`Uqbah Ibn Abi Mu`ait, the most idiot amongst them, brought it and put it on the back of the Prophet while prostrating. The Prophet Mohammad ﷺ did not move and I (`Abdullah is talking) could not dare to do anything, for I have no clan to protect me.
Fatimah, the Prophet’s young daughter, came she removed the dirt and insulted all of them. The Prophet then raised his head and started supplicating to Allah against them all.
Here, we can see that what kind of extremely difficult situations were faced by our Prophets which were given by Allah to convey His message.
So, the problem which we have today are just nothing. Covid19 is a test from Allah for all of us.
• We can easily avoid depression by keeping a healthy relation with Allah.
• No matter how the situation is, avoid missing out prayers offer them on time.
• Try to find out the solutions of the problem in Quran’s translation.
• Follow what our beloved Prophet Mohammad ﷺ taught us.
• Avoid backbiting or any sort of negative talk and people.
• Set a proper alarm clock and take a healthy diet with family.
We might not find the solutions of the problems today, but tomorrow is all ours. We just need to belief. _DHS
