Salah is the most important pillar of Islam, it is our responsibility to encourage kids to offer prayers to make it their habit to offer prayers on time with the heart. Kids should be motivated to offer prayers themselves. They must understand the values of offering prayers, and it is an obligation to pray. Tell them how much Allah loves those who offer prayers on time with their hearts.
Children usually learn by watching their parents, so you should always do Wudu and offer prayers on time tell them different stories to encourage and make them love praying on time. Tell them again and again that Allah is watching all our actions even intentions. So, we must have beautiful thoughts and ideas because Allah knows everything about us.
Children must be encouraged from an early age to offer prayer although it is not obligatory before 7 years, encouraging them from now, can be really great. Hang an Islamic Calendar in your home, so that kids must know Islamic dates too, the important dates as well as events.
You can arrange a get together when your child offers his first prayer to make him feel special, give him gifts and tell him that now onwards, you have to offer each prayer, so the biggest gift will be given by Allah to you in the form of rewards.
Tell him the stories of Prophets and how they lived their lives. Keep encouraging your child and praise him in front of the entire family for offering prayers.
“Teach a child to pray, beginning at the age of seven, and punish him for refusing it from the age of ten”
