“Respectus” is basically a Latin word which meant “Respect’. “Respect” is not just a word it makes the world look beautiful, which means concentration or attention. Everything in the world can be improved if given attention. With positive attitude or attention, it is very easy to win hearts. If a teacher appreciates students, gives attention on their everyday improvement or behavior and shows them that she/he really cares and concentrates on each of their action than even an average student can be the best one. Even, if students shares their opinions and observations about teachers it shows respect because the one who respects, gives attention.
“Attitude is a choice. Happiness is a choice. Optimism is a choice. Kindness is a choice. Giving is a choice. Respect is a choice. Whatever choice you make makes you. Choose wisely.”
― Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart
Respect is not only important but it is the most essential ingredient, do we shut down our computers if our colleagues ask for help? Do we listen to our parents carefully and ignore those chats on cell phones? Do we leave our office work if our kids want to play with us? We all must realize that all the relations in our lives are the building blocks of our beautiful lives, even if somebody doesn’t give us values, it doesn’t make any difference but our attitude and attention toward them can really make a huge difference.
Respect is a thing which should be given to everyone including our garbage man. Amount of respect can’t be changed on the bases of money or position it should be same for all.
“Respect for ourselves guides our morals; respect for others guides our manners.” Laurence Sterne
